Major Problems with iPhone  and How to Fix Them

iPhone has been a huge success worldwide. But a lot of problems were also reported. Here I discuss some problem with iPhone and solutions for most of these problems that you might have faced with your iPhone.

1.      iPhone 6 Camera Not Working

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings – this should resolve the camera issues in general.

2.     Touch Screen Problem

Restart the phone by holding down the Sleep and Home button together until the Apple logo appears on the screen. Now switch on the phone again and go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings (this wouldn’t delete your data on the phone, just that you might have to enter your passwords, change wallpaper etc).

3.     ‘Invalid SIM’ or ‘No sim card installed’

Toggle the Airplane mode to ON and OFF again.

Restart your iPhone. Check if the SIM Card is damaged or dirty. You should clean the golden contacts with an eraser or a soft lint free cloth.Ensure that the software on your iPhone  is up to date via Settings > General > About. If the problem still continues you must contact your service provide in that case.

4.        Charging Problem

Use an alternative wall socket, cable and charger. Ensure that you are using only the official charging cable and wall charger that was provided with your iPhone. Ensure that the charging port on your phone and the cable are clean and dust free. It is also possible that the connector on Lightning cable when in a humid or wet environment can get corroded. So avoid using it in such conditions and wipe off any water that the cable might have come in contact with. Reset your iPhone  while it is being charged by pressing the Sleep and Home buttons together until the Apple logo appears.

5.        Hearing Problem

Ensure that your speaker grill is not covered by anything; the phone case, screen protector or even dust may have an impact on the voice quality of a call. Clean it if required using a small and soft brush.

Ensure that you are not connected to any Bluetooth device and switch off the Bluetooth via Settings just to ensure that.

Sometimes switching off the noise cancellation feature also helps, go to Settings > General > Accessibility and confirm that the Phone Noise Cancellation option is turned off.

After completing all the steps as given above, press the Sleep and Home buttons together to reset the phone till you see the Apple logo.
