Sickle Cell Anemia (type of Anemia), the amounts of red blood cells are sick. Due to low healthy amount Oxygen may carry to body’s tissues. It is called Sickle Anemia. Types of Anemia
Our red blood cells are structure wise round and flexible. This is why the red blood cells move easily through blood vessels. Anemia is also known as Khoon ki kami. Here are the types of anemia;
Sickle cell anemia
Our red blood cells are structure wise round and flexible. This is why the red blood cells move easily through blood vessels. The cells become rigid and sticky in case of sickle cell anemia. Shape of the blood cells also changed from round to or crescent moons. Movement of the crescent moons shaped cells get stuck while passing through small blood vessels. This is the reason behind less pass amount of oxygen in sickle cell anemia.
Aplastic anemia
Anemia occurs when you have a decreased level of hemoglobin in your red blood cells (RBCs). Hemoglobin is the protein in your RBCs that is responsible for carrying oxygen to your tissues.
