“Shabe e Barkat” as the name indicate that this night is not an ordinary night as others. This night carries some special opportunities for Muslims,    no one in this world feeling ashamed to admit his sins in front of Allah Almighty.

Shab-e-Baraat is the night of worship and prayers for all Muslims. At this night Allah Almighty arranges the affairs of people for upcoming years.

Hadees about Shab e Barat are very important as these Hadees will give us knowledge about the Shab E Barat Ki Fazilat, Shab E Barat Ebadat & Shab E Barat Dua. 

Shab E Barat is the night of forgiveness. Muslims do pray all the night in front of Allah Almighty asking for his blessings and forgiveness from all the sins they have do till now.

There are many Prayers and Duas for this special night. On the evening of Shab e Barat many people distribute some sweets to each other to get this night. On the other hand some children also celebrate this night with the fireworks which are not allowed at all in Islam. So it is necessary to teach our children about the importance of this night so that they can perform ebadat on this night and don’t water their time.

1. Read 6 Rakaats of Nafl prayer (2+2+2) after Namaz e Magrib.

2. After every two Rakaats recite Surah Yaseen 1 time.

3. After reciting Surah Yaseen pray to Allah for the blessing of a healthy and prosperous life for the whole year.

1. Read 12 Rakaat Nafl prayer (2+2+2+2+2+2), after Namaz e Esha.

2. In each rakaat read, Surah Fatiha 1 time and Surah Iklas 10 times.

3. After reciting this read: 3rd Kalima 10 times, 4th Kalima 10 times and

4. Darood Sharif 100 times.

Hazrat Fatima (R.A) has said that whoever will perform this prayer, on Shab-e-Baraat and will present its reward (sawab) to my soul. I will strongly recommend for his forgiveness to Allah Almighty before I enter the heavens.

1. Read 8 Rakaat Nafl prayer with one Salaam.

2. In each rakaat read Surah Fatiha once & Surah Iklas 11 times.

3. After reciting this pray to Allah for forgiveness.

1.We should do this Dua because our beloved Prophet (PBUH) used to read this dua abundantly on this night.

Allahumma inni al-aloka afwa wal afiyata wal muafatad-daimata fid dunya wal akhirah

The person do this prayer on Shab-e-Baraat (15^th Shaban) will have incredible blessings from Allah Almighty. His prayers will be answered and will be made free from the fire of hell and will go to paradise.

1. Read 100 Rakaat Naflt Prayer recite Surah Fatiha 1 time & Surah Iklas 10 times in each rakaat.

2. After this read this dua 100 time.
